Hey, I’m Al Lykon.
a photographer (certainly not professional), sharing my opinions and perspectives on what’s in front of the camera—and what’s behind it.
I’ve been photographing aspects of my everyday life since 2021, with the goal of capturing the ordinary as something extraordinary; and over the years, I’ve compiled a decent collection of pictures—some finding their way onto my Instagram, and others sitting quietly on my camera.
I’ve always loved the art of photography, as it brings so much perspective to the finer details of life. But I’ve also wanted to share more—not necessarily just the photographs themselves, but the thoughts and perspectives behind them.
That’s why I created Ordinary Lens: a space for me to share my ideas and thoughts on what goes on between the landscape and the photographer.
